VIXON

Designing a cognitive training platform that transforms neuroscience-based theory into a usable, measurable tool for real-world coaches and athletes.

Context

Some projects start with an idea. Others start with a team.

With VIXON, we encountered something less common: a deeply committed team with a strong scientific foundation and a clear long-term vision.

VIXON Pro is a cognitive training system that uses wearable light-based devices and on-field dynamics to train what cannot be seen directly: reaction speed, decision-making under pressure, attention, and visual perception.

This is not “playing with lights.” It is structured stimulus-response training grounded in applied neuroscience.

While the theoretical foundation was solid, the challenge was translation. Because what is scientifically accurate is not automatically usable. The real users were not researchers; they were coaches operating under pressure, with little tolerance for unnecessary complexity.

Our Solution

Translating Science into Experience

We were not designing screens — we were translating academic language into operational clarity. Through workshops, we identified that coaches want data without complexity, while athletes respond to clear, tangible metrics.

This led to a key product decision: Radical simplicity. We designed clean interfaces with immediate clarity, ensuring that any metric could be understood within seconds.

Measuring the Invisible

Physical performance is easy to measure; cognitive performance is not. We designed a metric system that translates training sessions into understandable variables: consistency, variability, challenge level, and overall cognitive state.

Crucially, we did not want to replace the coach’s intuition. We created a system where objective data coexists with professional perception, supporting intuition rather than invalid it.

Lowering the Technical Barrier with AI

Talking about neural networks, executive functions, or plasticity may be correct — but not necessarily helpful in daily practice. We designed VIXON’s AI assistant as an integrated conversational layer that allows coaches to ask simple questions like "Who reacted fastest today?" or "How has this player evolved in the past weeks?"

Instead of navigating complex dashboards, users interact through natural language. The complexity remains under the hood, while the experience becomes accessible.

What We Built

  • A structured cognitive training system
  • A clear and interpretable metric model
  • A bridge between intuition and data
  • A usable tool for non-technical professionals
  • A way to justify performance decisions with measurable insights

Current Stage

VIXON Pro is now entering the market. During pilot testing, early signals have been strong: positive acceptance among coaches, high engagement from athletes, sustained use when simplicity is preserved, and genuine interest in measuring previously intangible aspects of performance.

The product is field-validated. The team is consistent. The theoretical foundation is robust. Now comes the most demanding phase: market reality.

Expectations are high.
